Take ownership of core execution workstreams on debt advisory mandates. You will connect financial analysis with the commercial credit story, coordinate management teams and lenders, and support the Managing Directors in moving a financing towards completion.
What you will do
- Plan and run preparation, modelling, lender diligence and execution workstreams against a clear timetable.
- Review financial models and credit materials, test key assumptions and turn findings into a concise recommendation.
- Coordinate information requests with clients, lenders and other advisers, resolving issues and escalating material risks promptly.
- Assess financing structures, compare term sheets and prepare negotiation points with the lead Managing Director.
- Review and guide analyst work as the team grows, maintaining consistent quality and clear ownership of deliverables.
What we are looking for
- Relevant transaction experience in debt advisory, leveraged finance, private credit, corporate finance or an adjacent execution role.
- Sound credit judgement and the ability to assess debt capacity, downside resilience and financing terms.
- Strong financial modelling skills and experience reviewing the work of others.
- The confidence to communicate clearly with senior management, lenders and advisers, including when an issue needs to be challenged.
- The organisation to manage several workstreams while remaining close to the detail and accountable for the outcome.
What we offer
- Meaningful responsibility for execution, with direct access to the Managing Directors on advice and negotiation.
- Exposure across the financing process and to the decisions that shape a client’s outcome.
- The opportunity to help establish the standards, processes and working habits of a growing advisory practice.
- A full-time role based in London, with hybrid working.
