James Stevenson is Managing Director and Head of Origination at Solon Corporate Finance. He was previously an investment banking associate in the Technology Group at Royal Bank of Canada in New York, where he worked on M&A, IPOs and debt financings for technology companies, advising management teams and financial sponsors.
His work included financial modelling, preparing transaction materials and leading discussions with management teams and prospective buyers. At Solon, he leads origination, building relationships with business owners, management teams and advisers to identify financing needs and develop new mandates.
At Model ML, he developed AI products for global investment banks and alternative asset funds. He read Computer Science at Boston College, with a minor in History.
